We are all born into this world as sinners (Psalm 51:5). Because of our sin, we are alienated from God. But God loves us and sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to bear the penalty of our sins. He died for us and in place of us, and now He offers us the free gift of eternal life with God. You can be a child of God by believing in the finished work of Christ on the cross. All that you need to do is Admit to God that you are a sinner, Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins, Confess your sins and ask God for forgiveness, and receive Him into your heart.
